The hotel was the general catering service supplier during the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Brno, 27. 9. 2009.
In December 2010 our hotel was visited by Czech poet, writer, translator, literary critic, diplomat and politician Jiří Gruša. From June 1997 to January 1998 he held the post of Minister for Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic. One of his books was written under the pseudonym Samuel Lewis. Our hotel had the honour of welcoming Czech Prime Minister Petr Nečas. In the picture with hotel director, Mr Šafařík.	Our hotel was visited by Cecka Cečeva – President of the national assembly of the republic of Bulgaria.
In December 2009, the Liechtenstein Ambassador to Vienna, Her Highness Maria-Pia Kothbauer, Princess of Liechtenstein, visited the Hotel.	9. 5. 2010 Otakar Motejl, a judge of the Supreme Court and then Ombudsman departed – the ombudsman, a man who will be forever linked with the struggle for and keeping of freedom in the Czech Republic. We also had the opportunity to come to know this unique personality.
The Governor of South Moravian Region, Mr Michal Hasek, in front of our hotel welcomes one of thirty ambassadors, charges d'affaires in Prague and other members of the diplomatic corps, who during his two-day visit to the South Moravian Region stayed in our hotel. 16 to 17 October 2009	On 22. 10. 2009 the Cooperation Agreement was signed by the Governor of Lower Austria Erwin Pröll, the Governor of South Moravia, Michal Hasek, the South Bohemian Governor George Zimola and Vysočina Governor Jiří Běhounek at the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel International Brno.
